SOLD!!!

Houses are cheap, cheap now. And so many people are planning to buy house. Saving here and there for that dream house. Then, imagine yourself as a home owner! That SOLD sign on the signboard of YOUR house!!! How exciting!

You know what? (say: wat?) We are SOLD too! We are redeemed by Jesus Christ!

Redeem (according to my study bible) is to buy back; to rescue from captivity by payment of ransom; to extricate form sin.

1Cor 7:23 says You were bought at a price: do not become slaves of men.

John 19:30 says After Jesus had taken the wine, he said, "It is finished." Then he bowed his head and released his spirit.

Tetelestai(greek word that is written on receipts in the olden days) means paid in full, it has been completed or It is finished!

How cool is that? God paid in FULL for our lives, lives that are sinful. Through Jesus Christ, His only son, God saved us from sins, so that we can be go home again!!! How valuable, how priceless is this act! The sufferings that He went through, the blood that He shed for us that we may live. How GREAT is this love! We are bought! And we are under the lordship of our new master! We belong to God! WOW! I think that's so cool(to belong to the one true GOD)!

I am SOLD to Jesus Christ!
