WAIT

Happy New Year everyone!!!
It's 2010. Father, i thank you for everything in 2009 and thank you for all that is to come in 2010. i pray for blessings to overflow the girls to whom this blog belongs to. i pray for blessings in their studies, in their health, in their ministry, in their relationship with people and with YOU. Father, continue to guide us through this journey that you have planned for us! in Jesus's name, AMEN!

let me share something that was "shock and awe!"
i have just graduated from physiotherapy recently and has been hunting for jobs. i really want to start working. so yesterday, as i was going about the things of life, i prayed and grumbled to God continuously,"Father, please give me a job, i need a job." The whole day, literally i was asking for a job.

At night, i sat down and yet prayed again for a job! As i was spending time with God, He told me to WAIT. This i'm quoting from a book...
"There are times when you cant understand why you cannot do what you want to do.... When God brings a time of waiting,... dont fill it with busyness, just WAIT!"

"Peter said to Him," Lord, why can I not follow you?" John 13: 37

Peter did not wait for God, in his mind, he predicted what he was going to do in the time of test. But when the test came, he reacted just as Jesus predicted. As honest as we can and as passionate as we can be, we have to remember our own abilities, our natural tendency, our imperfections.

So instead of acting on things on impulse. WAIT on God, WAIT for Him to move. :)

i still want a job but i want a job that God has prepared for me. i'll WAIT for Him:)
