Yet will i praise Thee

"But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more." Psalm 71:14

"I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I, whom you have redeemed. My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long,..." Psalm 71:22-24

Will you take the stand?

I don't know what to say. I don't know what to do.
I just wanna offer my heart completely to you.
There are times I climb, times I stumble.
But no matter what happens, I believe this: That even if my world falls apart, You will remain. I know it's true.
Even if I lose everything and everyone I have, as long as I have you, it will be okay.
I surrender, God. All I am is Yours.
You have stood by me for eternity.
It's now turn not only for my spirit, but for my soul and flesh to take the stand for You.

Completely to You

a prayer of moses the man of God

Psalm 90
A prayer of Moses the man of God.
1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.
2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
3 You turn men back to dust, saying, "Return to dust, O sons of men."
4 For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.
5 You sweep men away in the sleep of death; they are like the new grass of the morning-
6 though in the morning it springs up new, by evening it is dry and withered.
7 We are consumed by your anger and terrified by your indignation.
8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
9 All our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan.
10 The length of our days is seventy years or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.
11 Who knows the power of your anger? For your wrath is as great as the fear that is due you.
12 Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
13 Relent, O LORD! How long will it be? Have compassion on your servants.
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.
16 May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children.
17
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.
The Lord Of Our Years
When the Concise Oxford English Dictionary announced in 2006 that the word time was the most-often used noun in the English language, it didn’t seem surprising. We live in a world where people are obsessed with using days, saving minutes, and trying to find more hours in the day. Although each of us has all the time that there is, few of us think we have enough.

Perhaps that’s why Psalm 90 is such a treasured passage. It shifts the focus from our time-bound lives to our eternal God. “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God” (v.2).

A stanza in Matthew Bridges’ well-known hymn “Crown Him With Many Crowns” begins: “Crown Him the Lord of years, the Potentate of time.” A potentate is a sovereign, a monarch, an anointed majesty—one who does not seek appointment or run for election.
God created time. He rules and transcends it. When we feel frustrated by the calendar or captured by the clock, a quiet reading of Psalm 90 reminds us that our days and years are in the hands of our eternal God.
As we humbly bow before Him, we see time from a new perspective. — David C. McCasland
Crown Him the Lord of years,The Potentate of time,Creator of the rolling spheres,Ineffably sublime. —Bridges
We must have a right view of eternity to know the real value of time.

Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

1 Peter 5:8
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

We have an enemy, WOOOAHHH!!! >.<

Every area of our life is subject to enemy attack, how can we fight them..???

Daniel 10:12
Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

Daniel's spiritual battle clearly illustrates the war that occurs in the heavenlies!!!

therefore we need to fight on our knees before we can stand on our mission field....!!!!

We are called to do spiritual warfare through prayer over satan's strongholds until we win!
Jesus experienced spiritual battle in the wilderness, but he won and that happened before Jesus went out into public ministry. We too, must win before we can fully function in what God has called us to do....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But dont worry, because we are already in win-win situation. God is for us, and the battle is His. PRAISE GOD...!!!! ^^

Nevertheless, we need to pray in order to take ownership of the battle that has been won!

Matthew 18:18
I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

....
.....
........
How can we bind unseen forces on earth unless we open our mouth to pray, unless we also mobilize people in our cellgroup to pray..??????????

therefore, lets start praying for Orientation 2nd Sem 2009!

we need to fight on our knees before we can stand on our mission field!!!

pray pray pray, start now, YESHHHH!!!!

AND WE'RE WINNING...!!!! YESHHHH X 3....!!!
